Christmas 2012

We had a lovely Christmas with our El Paso family this year.  I was a little sad at first, to be away from our Simba, and our beds, and our cozy little home in Austin, but our holiday turned out to be so fun and so sweet with so many of the people we love.  We started our celebration on Christmas Eve morning at our house with Tinka, Titi Mo,a nd Titi Juli.  We had a delicious brunch and presents and then got on a plane and headed West.

Olivia had a blast with her Grandpa #1 and #2, Uncle Leo, Tia, Cousin Mary and Dave, Aunt Nicole, Marti, Aunt Stephi, Uncle Dave, Cousin Lolo and Bubba and Erica and John and sweet Bianca, Nina,Uncle Jamie, and Uncle Zach, and Buelo, and Penny, and Tooter, and Tiger, and Meatball.

We had a Christmas Eve feast at Uncle Leo and Tia's house.  Mari made some delicious new food, we had warm yummy drinks, and lovely company.  We woke up Christmas morning at the Zelenak's home.  Santa and Nino Jesus brought Olivia an amazing train set.  She also received a Sesame Street house that she loves, Super Why Characters, a talking Elmo, a Super Duper Computer, and a ton of adorable clothes.  It was so nice to sit around in our PJs and watch her excitement.  Cousin Lolo even got up in the dark to spend Christmas morning with her Oli.

In the afternoon Richie and I cooked homemade turkey dinner and all of the works at Grandpa's house.  Buelo was in town and came to spend time with us, which was really fun.  It was a great way to spend the day surrounded by delicious food and lots of love.
