Almost 8 months old...

Tomorrow is your 8 month birthday!  Wow how time flies.  Here are somethings that are happening in your life:

You are not sleeping at night.  You get up and want mommy and daddy.  We try to let you fall back to sleep on your own but you hate that idea.  Daddy goes in and you immediately want back in your crib when he picks you up.  We can't figure out if your teeth hurt or you just want to be with us.  This is making it really hard on mommy to get any sleep.  We are working on a plan now to help you feel better and help all of us sleep a little more.

You are on the move - if we would let you you would launch off couches and beds.  You love to climb over things.  You look like an Iguana when you scoot around the house.  One minute you are in your room and the next you are turning the corner into the bathroom.  You go from belly to sitting in no time and back again.

You love to sit up in your crib and play.  It's your quiet time.  You play with your puppy blanket and just look around.  You try to reach the curtains through the slats in your crib.  I think this makes it a lot harder for you to fall asleep because you are sitting up.  I'm waiting for the day I see you fall asleep sitting up.  I know you are also about to start pulling up on the crib as you try to do that to mommy and daddy.

You still love Simba and scoot right over to him whenever he is around.  He just moves out of the way. We are working on being very gentle to our sweet brother.

You LOVE to eat.  Anything we have tried you love and you eat a lot!  You get really messy sometimes.  We are waiting for your teeth to pop out so you can start trying finger foods.  You have one tooth on the bottom that has been visible for over two weeks but just wont push through- maybe that is what is bothering you so much.

The weather is nice again so we are back to our daily walks and you love to talk to the world as we go by.  I think you will be an outside gal like mommy.

You love Clara and recognize her every time we see her.  The two of you have known each other your whole lives and it is so fun to watch you grow together.

You just get more beautiful every day and it is amazing to watch you learn so much.  I have the best job in the world.  I feel so lucky.  We thank Daddy and God every day that we get such special time together.

Te quiero  tanto tanto, mas que nunca!
